Thursday Thoughts - Unique & Wonderful ( and a Contest! #KINDERMom )

Isn't it amazing how different our kids can be from each other? Not just in appearance, but just in who they are. It's a constant reassurance that our kids come to us as their own selves- it's not all nurture, if you ask me, it's definitely a balance between nature & nurture!

In thinking about what makes my kids unique, I started looking through old pictures and comparing how they looked at different ages. Talia was born with hair, Katrina was born with fuzz. Talia's hair was already long by her first birthday, but Katrina couldn't do pigtails until her 2nd. Talia's hair was long enough to donate when she was 3 & Katrina's had barely changed in the year between her 2nd & 3rd birthdays! :) Aside from that funny little difference, it's just interesting to look at their faces at the same ages!

They each have several things that make them unique- one has a special talent in the arts, the other has an amazing memory, and the list goes on! They are both so precious to me and I love them each so much!

Did you know there are new Kinder® Surprise® Pink toys? My kids are loving the flower rings and the bracelets (with stickers to decorate them). You can check out a gallery of the new toys here.

To celebrate the launch of Kinder® Surprise® Pink, Kinder Canada will hosting an exclusive Facebook contest. You can participate by becoming a friend of Kinder Canada on Facebook and telling them what makes your child so unique! You could be lucky enough to scoop up one of three $250 VISA gift cards! Contest will be live from until June 19.

Disclosure: I’m part of the KINDER® Mom program and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own
