While you don't have to come up with a plan for each day of the month ahead of time, it may help you to brainstorm some ideas now, so that it's easier to decide what to declutter each day.
Of course you can just grab a piece of lined paper & make a numbered list of your areas, but if you'd like the ease of this simple worksheet I created, here it is!
Click this link to get the free printable worksheet for you to plan out your 31 areas. This is just a list of ideas since you may find that some areas will take more than one day to tackle, or you may discover areas you hadn't thought of decluttering once you get started.
If you didn't catch the 1st post that explains the Easy 31 Day Declutter Challenge, you can head over to that post to catch up!
Follow along with me and my 31 days with before & after photos in my Instagram stories throughout January.
I hope you'll join me and tag me @raisingmemories there so I can see your process too!
This is such a great great way to declutter. Everyone can put 15 minutes aside everyday and attack an area. I worked on my son's room today and it took me 2hrs! I was exhausted after but it looks so good now, it was totally worth it.
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing- I bet you made huge progress with that much time!
DeleteI’m going to try this too!
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll share some of your results!
DeletePerfect idea! I need to do this, somehow!
ReplyDeleteJust 15 min a day- you can totally do it! :)
DeleteI began a very unofficial version of this just after Christmas, my husband wants to decrease the "stuff" in our home by 40%... this checklist will come in handy for sure!
ReplyDeleteGood for you- it's so nice to make a difference this way, & way less effort than you expect, to be able to make a change
DeleteYAAAS! I did this RIGHT before the new year. It felt amazing. I tackled each room one at a time and I de-cluttered and did a deep clean. FELT AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome. Good for you!
DeleteDecluttering is definitely an ongoing challenge, especially as a recovering packrat. There's so much "just in case" stuff lying around.
ReplyDeleteI hear you! That "just in case" stuff is so hard to get rid of!
DeleteThis is an awesome idea! I’m definitely going to use this one
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you can use it! I hope it's helpful :)
