In marriage there are a lot of bumps and craziness and often you have to choose to accept it and move on, be happy. If we don't have that life would be awfully lonely and sad. :-(Suzannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13162171296113014283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1465867677762395374.post-85638449902485476782015-06-24T20:41:13.264-04:002015-06-24T20:41:13.264-04:00I've been married for 38 years. We struggled and once, for a period of about 10 years, I thought we weren't going to make it. Once we made it a decision to be in love and to make that choice, things were so much better!Terri Steffeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02544793349029524184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1465867677762395374.post-88715667120157780012015-06-24T15:47:39.283-04:002015-06-24T15:47:39.283-04:00Sounds like a great book! I also struggle when things don't turn out the way I planned or expected, and those are the moments I need to remember that I am in control of my emotions and reactions. I've read a lot ...This sounds like a good book. I've read a lot of marriage/family books but I always find them encouraging and inspiring. And yes, I've thought of happiness as a choice. I blogged about it a little while ago too... I think too many people expect that marriage = happily ever after (I mean, it happens it the fairy tales, right?) but it takes so much more than that. It takes a choice to stick together through it all. A choice to be happy in the midst of the ups and downs of life. So thanks for your insight! And congrats to your hubby on finishing!!! Having a husband in school too, I know how long that road can be... :) Bonnie Way aka the Koala Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11601183003333359031noreply@blogger.com
