Happy Saturday!

Happy Saturday!

Talia & I are headed to a super hero birthday party & I am so excited about it! :) I've been watching her friend's mom's blog & have seen some previews of the fun to come, including personalized superhero capes, choice of super power, and even a moonster pinata for the superheroes to defeat! We went shopping last night and bought a couple of super hero themed gifts- so fun!

Meanwhile Daddy & Katrina will be home, running a yard sale.
Tonight we're having Ken's parents over for a Father's Day BBQ.

Should be a great weekend!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

  2. Hope your garage sale went well. Heidi had one today and luckily I was able to donate some of my stuff for her to sell.

  3. Well, if you call $3.25 good... ;) haha... it's the first garage sale we've ever done. It was supposed to be a street sale but not very many people participated. Oh well :)

  4. That sounds like a great party! I wish I had the patience and creativity to plan a party like that!

  5. So which superhero was the most popular at the party? My kids aren't old enough yet to be "into" superheroes, but when I was little, I absolutely adored Wonder Woman. I wanted to be Wonder Woman for Halloween and wear my Wonder Woman underwear. My parents nixed that idea, however.
I hope you had a happy Father's Day, too.

  6. I *LOVE* themed birthday parties! Maybe because I always wanted my birthday to be a big deal growing up, and it's a great way to make your little one feel like their birthday is extra special and that they're really loved. Can't wait to do some things like that for my kids.

  11. I absolutely love the idea of a monster pinata for the superheroes to defeat. I'm definitely going to file that away in my b-day parties ideas!
