Back to School Clothes Haul & a Contest!

I loved back to school shopping when I was younger! It was an opportunity to go out and get some new things and usually to have a mommy daughter date in the process. This year I spent some time with each of my daughters, looking for clothes for the Fall.  We're still on the hunt for some things, but with a special contest going on, I wanted to share with you what we found at Carter's | OshKosh. They've got a lot of cute, colourful clothes right now and we've always been happy with their quality and durability so they're a favourite place to shop! Make sure you read to the end of the post because you don't want to miss the contest!

Talia is headed straight into those tween years and her tastes are changing. I was quite happy to be able to find cute shirts with sayings on them that she liked and I found appropriate.  The "Best Day Ever" shirt in the photo above was one of her picks along with this "Free Spirit" shirt with gold accents.  She styled it with her own jean jacket, some new moccasins, and a pair of OshKosh Moto Jeggings.

Before we went into the store we checked out the Carter's | OshKosh website. These were some of my favourite back to school outfits for girls and boys:

When Katrina & I got to the store, she chose a Carter's "Gorgeous" Tee and paired it with a pair of turquoise Carter's French Terry Jeggings.

We found another shirt that went with the jeggings, so we got two outfits out of three pieces! She's modeling the first outfit in the photo below.

We found the tunic in this next photo on a clearance rack, so I think it's from last year's line or maybe the Spring, but they have a bunch of cute new tunics in stores for Fall with leggings you can mix and match with to make different outfits.

Now, back to our tween who finds herself rather tall and into those larger kids' sizes. I was so happy when I heard that Carter's | OshKosh would be expanding their sizes up to size 14! It's going to help a lot of kids with that tricky transition between kids stores and teen stores. I'm dreading the day when we have to make that jump!

I love this OshKosh Sparkle Crochet Pullover on Talia! It will work well (along with any of her other tops) with those same moto jeggings from the photo above.
