Dragonwatch: Champion of the Titan Games

The fourth book in Brandon Mull's Dragonwatch series (a stand-alone sequel series to Fablehaven) was recently released and Talia has just finished reading it. Stay tuned to the end of the post for a giveaway!

She's put together a summary of the book, her thoughts and rating of the book, and at the end of the post, you'll have a chance to win the book!

Dragonwatch: Champion of the Titan Games

Book Summary

While the Dragonwatch series is about dragons revolting against being kept in sanctuaries, Volume 4 (Champion of the Titan Games) is about Titan Valley (a sanctuary run by giants). The dragon king is rumored to have plans to come to Titan Valley and free the dragons.

Meanwhile, Seth heads for the Titan Games (a series of gladiator-style battles), to see if he can get his memory back from Humbuggle, the demon who stole his memories in a previous book!

While Seth is on a quest to get his memory back, Kendra is on a quest to find Seth, and everyone is trying to stop the dragons from taking over the world! Between the Titan Games, a dark unicorn named Ronodin with a devious agenda, and the battle between giants and dragons, who will win?

Talia's Recommendation & Rating

If you like fantasy, dragons, and epic battles, you'll like this series!

I thought it was very interesting to see the perspective of Seth who has lost his memory and doesn't know or remember if he can trust different people. It's interesting to see the judgements he makes without the knowledge of his past that I, as a reader, still have. It really made me think about what it would be like to be in his place.

Fans of Brandon Mull's other fantasy series (Fablehaven, 5 Kingdoms, and Beyonders), are sure to love DragonWatch and fans of the series will not be disappointed by this latest volume!

I like this series so much, I'd give it a 4.999 out of five!
