We're Moving!

We have big news- we're moving!

We're Moving! Moving Announcement Photo

The last time I wrote a personal "life update" type of post was near the beginning of the pandemic. Since then, a lot has been going on with us!

New Job

If you follow on Instagram, you know that Ken's 2-year work contract came to an end recently. He started interviewing for two different jobs (one located in Vancouver, B.C. and the other in Kingston, ON). It was remarkable how closely the interview processes lined up with each other and for quite a few weeks, we were going back & forth in our minds about whether we would end up in British Columbia or Ontario- it was rather exhausting, mentally, to make both of those moves in my mind at once! ;) haha

We're Moving!

About a week ago, Ken accepted a job offer in Kingston and we have jumped right into planning our move. In fact, Ken started work today (remotely) and the two of us just spent a few days in Kingston looking for a new home!

I'm excited to be able to still live near water! We're leaving Lake St. Clair, Lake Erie, and Detroit River areas but we'll be trading those for Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River.  During our trip to Kingston this weekend, I was very excited to see how green it is there- so many trees and lots of beautiful nature. It also has a really cute downtown area (where we took the photo above).  I'm excited to share more about it as we get to know the area!

This new adventure is just beginning & we don't have a place to live confirmed yet. We look forward to seeing how this all plays out! :)  I'll share  more details as things unfold, over on Instagram.
