Bubbling Science Experiment

We tried this magic trick and then had some fun with the science behind it. So cool! The girls thought it was great. It was so easy to do and not hard to clean up- go try it! :)

For this trick all we needed was half a cup of vinegar and a spoonful of baking soda (with a little food colouring mixed in ;)

  1. You can do a similar experiment by using a pop bottle with the vinegar inside. a balloon with thwe baking soda inside it. carefully put the balloon on the bottle. When you tip the balloon up straight the baking soda hits sthe vinegar and blows up the balloon. the gas made by the reaction causes the balloon to expand. very neat.
