Day 9: Book Subscription Box

Day 9: Book Subscription Box

Today we're giving away a Kids' Book Box from Bookroo!

If you missed the announcement, it's Gift Guide Giveaway time and today is Day 9!
You can keep track of all Gift Guide posts from the announcement page.

I have partnered with Bookroo and was provided with a box of books in exchange for my thoughts. All opinions shared are my own. Affiliate links are provided should you decide to purchase Bookroo products from my review.

You all know that I love a good non-toy gift for my kids and what you may also know is that I have two girls who are big on reading. So I LOVE what Bookroo is doing and think their monthly book subscription box would make an amazing gift for kids!

Age Groups

They have 3 different types of boxes for different age groups: board books (ages 0-3), picture books (ages 2-6), and chapter books (ages 7-10).

Subscription Lengths

There are 4 different gift subscription lengths: 1, 3, 6, and 12-months.

We're trying out the chapter book subscription for 3 months and got our first books in October. We can't wait for November's box to come!

Our Experience So Far

First of all, it's so fun to get a package in the mail addressed to you (at any age, but especially when you're a kid)! Then you open the box and there are wrapped presents inside! I LOVE that they wrap the books, it adds to the excitement and the fun of the whole experience!

Bookroo's goal with the chapter books boxes is to send one hidden gem and one admired favorite per box. Katrina quickly read Oliver and the Seawigs (the hidden gem) and was really excited when she realized that The Best Bear in All the World was a Winnie the Pooh book (she had recently seen the new Christopher Robin movie, so this was very timely). I'm excited for her to read it!

I was happy to see that the books were of great quality- both hardcover books, both had pictures in them (which is a plus for my 9 year old who loves to read, but also still really loves pictures).  She excitedly pointed out to me that the Winnie the Pooh book had a built-in ribbon bookmark, too. :)

So this is a great way to build your family's library with good quality books!

On top of all of this, if you happen to receive a book in your box that you already own, you will get $5 off your next subscription if you send Bookroo a picture of your giving the book to someone else. I love that!
