Valentine Photo Art Gift & Decor Ideas

If you are a returning blog reader then you've probably caught on to the fact that I love photographs. I also love to decorate with them- I'm always trying to get images into print form and not stuck, hidden, in digital form.

With Valentines Day coming up, there are lots of fun ways to gift photographs and Posterjack.ca has teamed up with me to share some fun Valentine Photo Art Gift Ideas with you! :)

Valentine Photo Art Gift & Decor Ideas

1. Decorate for Valentine's Day with Photos

The first photo I thought of to use for a print that I could put up for Valentine's Day was this one:

I have often thought about printing it but hadn't done it yet. I think it's so cute and whimsical and although it's largely black & white, the colours that are in it are very Valentine's Day appropriate. :) I think it would be so fun to display around Valentine's Day!

2. Use Your Love Song

Ken & I met when we were teenagers and used to go to dances a lot. From the time we were in our teens, "our song" was Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion. It was also our wedding song. :)

It would be fun to print an image of us together with a quote from the song over the photo. (You can do that with Posterjack's collage maker!)

3. Photos of People You Love

Whether it's your significant other, a friend, or one of your children, you could give the gift of photo art on Valentine's Day just by having a print made of you together! This is one I've thought about having printed of Talia & I when she was much littler:

4. Photos from a Romantic Getaway

I would love to print a landscape photo from our 10th Anniversary trip to Mexico! Looking at photos from that trip brings back great memories and just gives me that relaxed feeling that I had while we were away together. How nice would it be to look at that every day?! :)

Well, I decided to go with the first idea this time, and I ordered the little Fairy Princess Shadow photo. I had been wanting to try a metal print for a while and I thought this one would be neat with that type of print, so I went for it!

As always, I was impressed by the packaging (below you can see how it arrived, and what I found inside the box- super protected) and also the speed of delivery! It arrived at my door not long after I ordered it and I was surprised to see it here already!

When you order a metal print, the corners even come with protection (as you can see below). I ordered mine with the Float Mount Hanging System so that it would be ready to hang:

I think it's so neat that it's actually printed right on metal! Below you can see how it looks hanging up and how it does sort of look like it's floating away from the wall:

I hung it in Talia's room for this photo, but I'm looking forward to experimenting with other places to display it during Valentine time! :)
