Before I tell you about its cool features, let me show you how CUTE this beddng is! The one shown below is the "Perfectly Miss Matched" set. These are made by a company called Beddy's (bed-ease).
The coolest thing about Beddy's is that they are zipper bedding. They were originally designed to solve the problem of making a bunk bed, but they make bed-making easy for any bed!
Our Beddy's were shipped to us inside of a box, packaged in bags with zippers. Each set comes with the Beddy itself (which is the equivalent of a sheet, blanket, and comforter... but it's all attached- watch the video later in the post to see what I mean), a pillow case, and a fancy pillow sham. Matching bed skirts and (adorable) pillow sets are available separately.
Of course, due to the way that they have to be shipped, the cute ruffled and pleated parts of the bedding and pillow shams will arrive a little... "smushed". A little time with your iron though, and your ruffles and pleats will be gorgeous! (I know that a steamer will also work wonders, but I don't have one and the iron worked for me). You can see the "before & after" below:
Even better than that "before and after" though, is this one! On the left, you can see how my kids' beds would look when they went off to school in the morning most days. (Actually, most days, neither bed would be made, but Talia made hers a little more often than Katrina did). Even when they were made, they didn't look very tidy and I can't blame the girls too much, because it took a fair bit of work to get the quilts laying nice and flat, tucked in properly, and lined up nicely. With the Beddy's on their beds, all it takes is a zip and to put the pillows in place! If the bed is zipped, then the bed looks neat and tidy!
I am a big fan of Beddy's because of how well they are made. Fabrics have been carefully chosen so that they are high quality and will last. They've found a zipper that works smoothly every time. They've designed their pillow cases so that the pillow never shows- love that feature! Beyond all of those cool features and all of the great thought that has gone into the design of this product, I love that they've also come up with such cute designs! They've got designs for girls, boys, and adults too.
The top blanket of the Beddy's has a very soft Minky fabric on the inside. My girls love it (and I do too- sometimes I'll climb right in bed with them to read them a story at night, and I'm always surprised by how very cozy and comfy their beds are!) The fabric looks like this:
I made a video of myself, putting a Beddy on one of my girls' beds so that you could see more clearly what the Beddy's are like and how easy they are to use. A big bonus for me with my hands is how easy it is to make a bed with Beddy's!
You can watch that here:
I also thought it would be fun to catch the girls' reactions when they came home to find their beds made with Beddy's. They knew about zipper bedding (I had looked at the website with them around) but they didn't know they were getting their own! I also encouraged them to try the bedding out so that I could show whether it was easy for them to do it. You can see those videos here:
Here's Talia's reaction:
Here's Katrina's:
Note: The style on Katrina's bed is called "OOH LA LAvender"

This is great! It's obviously so much simpler! And the bedding really is adorable, too.
ReplyDeleteSo simple! Any little girl would love those colors and how fun to zip it up!
ReplyDeleteIt is fun ;) When my kids do forget to make their beds, I'm happy to help them out- and it's so satisfying to finish that "chore" SO MUCH faster than before!
DeleteThat's so fun! I saw these on Shark Tank (or something like these) and wondered if they'd really be convenient or not. Perfect for kids making their own beds. And nice, I think, for younger kids who can't pull a blanket on themselves at night.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if that was them on Shark Tank, but I do know that we're finding them very convenient! I get no complaints when I ask the girls to "zip their beds" (much different before we got these!)
DeleteMy friend bought 3 of these for each of her daughters and they are obsessed with them. They clean in the washer so easily too!
ReplyDeleteWe are obsessed, too!
DeleteWow, my girls would love these--and since 2 are in loft beds and one on a bunk bed, it would sure help them out (and my boy has a bunk bed too! Hate making those things!)
ReplyDeleteIt would be perfect for those types of beds! (I had a loft bed in University- it was a pain to make it!)
DeleteWhat a great design with that zipper system. I love your daughter's reaction upon seeing her new bedding!
ReplyDeleteIt really is a great idea. Thanks :)
DeleteThese look so great, I had never heard of them before but now I'm in love with them. I checked out the website, I wish they had some more creative designs for boys, but they seems really great!
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to keep your eye on them (they're active on Instagram) because they do keep coming out with new things!
DeleteThe kids are so cute when discovering the new bedding! It's always so much fun to deliver some sneaky sweet surprises.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! :) They were SO excited about this one!
DeleteWhat adorable bedding sets! I love the colours and how easy they are to make up. Both of my kiddos could benefit from having Beddy's on their beds.
ReplyDeleteYes! And they continue to come out with adorable sets over and over- I'm continually impressed!
DeleteThat is so clever! And they are really adorable bedding sets. Brilliant idea.
ReplyDeleteI know! I was so impressed with the idea! AND they've executed it so well! The right people came up with this idea! :)
DeleteWhere did you get them from? I love them
