Jinelle & Jon (Engagement Photos)

I recently got out with Jinelle and Jon for some engagement photos. They had scouted out some great locations and we had a good weather day despite all of the crazy early Spring weather we have had!

It just so happened that Jinelle's brother was arriving home from his mission in Mexico that afternoon, so a bunch of family members (us included- Dayne & Jinelle are Ken's cousins) were gathering at the airport to welcome him home after 2 years away! His family brought a great bunch of balloons, so we snagged them for a few quick photos, and were happily surprised by their colourful shadows!

One of our locations was a downtown area that had this great navy wall (and navy happens to be one of their wedding colours, so we got a few shots there). Jinelle & Jon were troopers at this point- we didn't have as much sunlight in this area, and the wind had picked up, so it was rather chilly! I hope it was worth it for the beautiful sun rays that were peaking over the building :)

I got playing in photoshop & wanted to include this one. The colouring is a little different than what I would normally do, but it was fun to play with the sun that was captured!

I hope you liked this preview of your photos, Jinelle & Jon! Thanks for having me do them- it was fun. :)
We're looking forward to your wedding in June! :)

Leisha & Dan (Engagement Photos)

Leisha, Dan & I met at a local park a few weeks ago to take some engagement photos.
Here are a few favourites from our session:

Thanks for a fun session, you two! I look forward to your wedding in December :)

Family Portraits (My Sister's Family)

My sister, Hilary, and her family were in town last month
(she lives in the U.S. and I LOVE it when her family comes back to Canada!)

We scheduled in some time to do family portraits while she was here, and despite an injured toe (poor little Sierra!) and a wandering Brooklyn, we managed to get some keepers :)

I love this one of Sierra with her beautiful, wispy hair floating in the breeze, and that cute, real little smile on her face- busy with her own thoughts, not distracted by my camera :)

The adorable miss Brooklyn (she has grown so much since these!)

Still just as gorgeous as they were the day they were wed ;)

I'm glad we got the chance to do these :) Hope to see you guys again real SOON! :)

Brittany & Brandon (Engagement Photos)

The last engagement session I posted was for my sister. Not long after she got engaged, my brother proposed to his girlfriend!

Their weddings will be 5 weeks apart, so things are getting a little crazy around here- especially since the first one is 5 weeks from now!

On to the photos- here are some of my favourites from Brandon & Brittany's engagement session- we went back to the waterfall where my brother proposed.

We spent some time walking in the water, back to the spot where he got down on one knee (in the water) and proposed. I had to get a shot of them in their water shoes to remember it by ;)

Brittany spotted these heart shaped leaves. I couldn't resist getting a ring shot with them!

It was a fun evening you two- I look forward to having you for a sister in law, Brittany, and the girls are psyched to be getting an aunt!

Amber & Russ (Engagement Photos)

My sister, Amber, is marrying her highschool sweetheart this year! Here are a few favourites from the engagement session that I did for them on Russ's parents' property. Hope you enjoy! :)

Sneak Peak (Engagement Photos)

I've been slowly processing engagement photos of my sister & her fiance for a few days now. Here's a little sneak peak:

My little family & I went camping for a couple of days this week, so I've taken a break from everything, along with not feeling too well, so hopefully I'll be back in the swing of things soon!

Hey, while I'm at it, check out this girl's gorgeous ring!!

I forgot to add the little thing at the bottom of this picture for the blog- this photo is taken by me, it is my sister's hand, I didn't steal it from another website. That is all.
