If you're ever traveling in the area, looking for a fun, family friendly hotel in Moncton, you will want to check out the Delta Beauséjour! Here are all the reasons why we loved it for our family trip!
Delta Beauséjour in Moncton |
We arrived in Moncton after a 7.5 hour drive (plus stops) so we checked in quite late at night. We were all wide awake still, so the girls were thrilled when they were greeted with a bag of cotton candy! I have to admit I was thrilled too; I still get excited about cotton candy.
Our Room at the Delta Beauséjour
We enjoyed our treat and got ready for bed. Our room was equipped with a full bathroom, a desk with office chair, a comfy upholstered chair, a safe, a mini fridge, and a flat screen TV. I don't think we ever turned the TV on because we were busy with our New Brunswick adventures and the hotel pool!
The next morning we were busy in Moncton (here's what we were up to!). When the afternoon rolled around we were ready to retreat back to our hotel for some relaxation and fun at the pool!

Family Friendly Hotel with a Pool!
When we ask the girls to tell us what some of their favourite parts of the trip were, this hotel pool and slide are right near the top of their list! Katrina was quite happy to be tall enough for the slide (you don't land in deep water at the bottom, so it's good for younger kids who aren't as strong swimmers- as long as they're tall enough).
We brought an underwater camera for this trip and the hotel pool was our first time taking it for a test run! In the photo below, you can see Talia all geared up with goggles, nose plug, and the camera strapped to her head. It was a pretty comical sight! You can get a look at some of our underwater shots in the vlog from Day 2 & 3 of our trip:
The girls had a blast playing with the underwater camera, going down the slide over & over, and hanging out with us for a little bit in the whirlpool. A bonus for me was that the pool was heated and saltwater- a definite bonus when you're traveling, not to have to work to get that chlorine smell out of your suits!

Activities for Kids
We were impressed to find that one of the conference rooms in the hotel had been transformed into a Summer Activity Room for kids! There were colouring pages with markers, piles of board games, pop corn, skip-its, and mini golf!
On our way out of the hotel for more adventures, we were met with salad samples from one of the hotel restaurants and more cotton candy for the kids- we all loved that!
Speaking of restaurants, the hotel is including breakfast at their TRIIIO Restaurant and Lounge when you book a stay this summer. This was definitely our favourite hotel breakfast of the trip! The buffet was extensive and included everything from the basics, to made-to-order omelettes, and even smoked salmon!

Passport Program for Kids
The hotel has a special Passport program for kids (with a few places in the hotel they should visit and get their passports stamped, to turn in for a prize from a treasure chest). To get one of our stamps, our waitress took us back to the kitchen for a tour. She was so friendly and kind to do this for our kids (particularly when things were busy at the restaurant with breakfast)! While we were back there, she showed us a huge 14 pound lobster!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Hotel Beauséjour in Moncton! We were very impressed with the level of kid-friendliness and would love to visit again if we're ever in the area!
Thank you to Hotel Beauséjour for hosting us for this part of our trip.

That breakfast looks amazing! And the waterslide is so much fun. Would love to stay here. Were those stuffed crabs what the girls got for their prize?
ReplyDeleteIt was SO good! No, they didn't keep the stuffed crabs- just posed with them for the photo. They got to choose an item from a treasure chest. I think they both chose slinkys :)
DeleteCotton Candy and a water slide? Sounds like a TON of fun for the kids. Love when hotels go out of their way to make families/kids feel welcome. Makes your stay so much nicer.
ReplyDeleteSeriously! :) Fun for them AND us ;) It really makes a difference when they make a point of making things kid-friendly.
DeleteThis hotel looks like a kids dream with those water slides and cotton candy. Looks like so much fun. It totally reminds me of my childhood and loving the hotels with pools. ;) I also love you and your girls' bathing suits. Where are they from!?
ReplyDeleteThey're from RAD swim. I love so many of their suits & the fact that they have most of them in sizes from baby up to women!
DeleteWOW the Delta Beausejour looks incredible for families. That pool looks fun and salt water is great. I will pin for later. We have had great experiences with Marriott as well. Very happy with our stays there always.
ReplyDeleteIt was great. It's nice to have that reassurance when you go with a chain you've had great experiences with in the past!
DeleteBathing suits are adorable! I want cotton candy!! The hotel looks great! Can't wait to plan this trip!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) haha
ReplyDeleteGreat way to greet guests with some cotton candy, we love the stuff(fluff)!
ReplyDeleteYes! I would be happy with cotton candy greetings anywhere, any time! ;)
DeleteI would definitely stay there. I love that pool area and the waterslide design.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it cool?!
DeleteThis looks like a great resort and the perks are great. I have never seen a waterslide like that before the end actually looks dangerous because there's no pool just a thin reserve.
ReplyDeleteHmmm LOBSTER !!!!!!!
It was fine. It levels out- you don't come down from a steep angle.
DeleteLooks fun, great food too!
ReplyDeleteYes, it was such a lovely breakfast!
DeleteI've never been to a hotel like that. Looks like an awesome time especially with the slide
ReplyDeleteyes, the slide was a big highlight! :)
DeleteLooks like a great place to visit!
ReplyDeleteI would love to stay here because they have everything but most of all they've got giant lobsters, Yummy !
ReplyDeletehaha Who could complain when there are giant lobsters?! ;)
DeleteSounds like this is the hotel to stay, I love cotton candy too - hope it's not just for kids!
ReplyDeleteI definitely got my share, too! ;)
DeleteMy son would love that waterslide
ReplyDeleteWow! This is a pretty family friendly hotel. Love how there's water slides.
ReplyDeleteThe cotton candy was a nice touch. I've never been there, but we do stay in Moncton quite often.
