Memorable Things to do with A Teenage Daughter

When thinking of fun things to do with your daughter, consider her interests.  Ask her what she wants to do.  If you come up with an idea you thought she'd be into, but she's not interested in what you suggest, be patient with her and keep brainstorming with her.

Our List of Fun Things to do with a Teenage Daughter

1. Go out for ice cream

2. Get a spa treatment together (manicure, pedicure, or a full spa day- we even tried a mother-daughter spa together) or do a DIY spa day at home

3. Go out for brunch/lunch/dinner

4. Play a card game or any other games

5. Go Bowling 

6. Play mini golf

7. Take a class together & learn a new skill (yoga, dance, art, cooking, etc.)

8. Do a craft or some art together at home

9. Go to the beach to relax & read

9. Play a computer or online game

10. Do a photoshoot together (professional or DIY)

11. Go thrifting

12. Go for a nature walk

Plot Twist Ideas

My 17 year old made a list of plot twists for her life. They're little things she wants to do, to add some fun and delight to her life.  You can totally make a list of plot twist mother and teenage daughter bonding activities!  Here are a few ideas from her list:

1. Watch a sunrise/sunset outside with hot chocolate or cider

2. Serve casual food in fancy ways

3. Jump in the snow in a swimsuit

4. Night Picnic

5. Hide a time capsule

6. Write cute/kind/encouraging notes to hide in library books

7. Get Fast Food (ask the worker what their favourite food there is, then order it)

8. Photograph one colour all day

9. Go for a walk and follow a colour & see where you end up

10. Buy a big puzzle & work on it

11. Write a list of things you like about your mom/your daughter
